Dog Pee Pads

dog pee padsHow many dog owners have picked up their dog pee pads only to have them drip and leak all the way to the garbage? Well, no more! UGODOG is saying that their environmentally safe, innovative indoor dog pee pads out do regular dog wee pads in more ways than one. Not only do they make the dog pee pads but they offer a book on a five step indoor house and potty training system (specially written for them by the author of Housetraining for Dummies).

Not to be confused with doggie grass, the manufacturers of UGODOG say that their product is far better than doggie grass in the following ways:

  • It’s hard to know when it’s time to clean the systems using the doggie grass because it is meant to conceal the odor of urine.
  • Harmful bacteria can be trapped and accumulated in the doggie grass.
  • Even with odor hiders doggie grass can have an offensive odor.
  • Doggie grass is particularly hard to clean and can be messy

The UGODOG system simply gets wiped down about once each day; the dog pee pads (or soiled newspapers) removed, and discarded and replaced; stool is easily cleaned up due to the fact that it settles on top of the grate making it mess free; and your dog’s paws always remain dry because the urine simply runs through the grate to the base below. UGODOG says that their system of dog pee pads has a solid supportive base suitable to all breeds of dogs. There is also an addition of two extra, fitted, removable and smaller grates which can make cleaning up even more convenient and easy.

This innovative style of dog pee pads can be used for both indoors and outdoors because it is weather resistant and durable. Compared to other puppy wee pads and doggie potty patio systems, UGODOG insists that their system is far more convenient, mess free and even more economical than the others. Two single systems plus the connector measures approximately 1 inch in depth, 38.2 inches wide and 26.4 inches long.

One reviewer, who owns an Italian Greyhound and says that such breeds are extremely difficult to potty train for outdoors, has trained their IG to use its UGODOG dog pee pads indoors. After trying a chux-like dog pee pad but coming home to a room that looked like it had snowed indoors (the dog tore it to pieces); and taking into consideration that a doggie grass pad might present problems for a dog that loves to eat grass; they came across the UGODOG System and decided to give it a try. They stayed with it ever since.

Another reviewer, a Yorkshire Terrier owner, said that their little guy would take the chux-like dog wee pads, mangle it into a little ball, and then pee on and around it on the floor. Not helpful at all! Possibly even counterproductive. Even other dog pee pad holders presented problems because the Yorkie would pee on the edge of the frame and onto the floor. Since using the UGODOG system, the little fellow hasn’t missed once (I’m thinking it’s a good thing for him). Another yappy ending!
